Theater alumni from Federal Way High School have reunited for a show to benefit the school’s speech and debate team.

“Tuna Does Vegas” is a comedy about the eccentric characters from a small Texas town who romp through Sin City.

Directed by Lois Gorne, the show runs 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 and 13 at the school’s Little Theater, located at Pacific Highway South and South 308th Street. Tickets are $15 for adults, $8 for students.

Gorne taught drama and speech at the high school for nearly 30 years, and continues to coach the speech and debate team. Proceeds from “Tuna Does Vegas” will help pay for tournament fees and other financial costs for the debate team, which has won 16 state titles over the years.
