Theatre for youngsters: “Stuart Little” is a TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) show by Centerstage Theatre, and is adapted by Joseph Robinette, based on the book by E.B. White. This production features local actors Elliott Lovett as Stuart Little, Marisa-Clare Hissey as Mrs. Little, Nathan Cardenas as Mr. Little, Ashlyn Bagocius as Actor #3, and Rachel Ruby Squires as Actor #4. This show is directed by Niclas Olson and Sarah Ross serves as stage manager. Shows are 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, and 2 p.m. Nov. 3. The Knutzen Family Theater is located at 3200 SW Dash Point Road. General admission tickets are $36 in advance (online or over the phone) and $39 at the door. Diversity in Law Enforcement Career Workshop: This free workshop is designed to address both real and perceived obstacles for those interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement. Lunch is provided and attendees will receive a free PST practice test and study guide and a test fee waiver. Runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 2, presented by local police agencies including the Federal Way Police Department.

Free Community Clothing Swap: Come grab amazing and new-to-you items while helping reduce textile waste from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 2 at the South King Tool Library, 1700 S. 340th St. in Federal Way. To register, head to uqr.to/FallSwap

Election Day: Drop your ballot by 8 p.m. Nov. 5. Voting help is available at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center (Banquet Hall) located at 650 SW Campus Drive in Federal Way on the following dates and times: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 2; 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 4; 8:30 a.m. 8 p.m. Nov. 5.

West Business District Meeting: On Nov. 6, join with other Federal Way business owners and community members from the West business district from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club located at 3583 SW 320th Street in Federal Way.

Community of Creators: Calling all writers, artists and creatives. From 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 6, head to the Federal Way 320th Library at 848 S. 320th St. to work on projects and meet other creators. Bring your supplies and your creativity. City Council Meeting: 6:30 p.m. Nov. 6 in the council chambers (upstairs and to the left) at City Hall (33325 8th Ave. S.).

Legislative Agenda Breakfast: Join your 30th District State Legislators for a special Federal Way City Council meeting and breakfast to hear city leaders share their priorities for upcoming legislative session. The breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 7 at the Federal Way Community Center, 876 S. 333rd St., Federal Way

Family Movie Night: At 5:30 p.m. Nov. 8, bring the family to see the movie “Sing” at the Dumas Bay Centre, located at 3200 SW Dash Point Road in Federal Way. Tickets cost $2 and can be purchased at itallhappenshere.info/movienight.

St. Luke’s Theatre presents the Wizard of Oz: “The Wizard of Oz” is a beloved tale of life’s journey through family, friendship and self-discovery. This version has been scripted by comedy writers Greg Gamble and Lee Howard, and though not the version you’re familiar with, its parody, satire and abstract nonsense will leave you in stitches. Performances will take place on Nov. 8 through Nov. 10 and Nov. 15 through Nov. 17.

Federal Way Veterans Day celebration: Mark your calendar for the Federal Way Veterans Celebration at 2 p.m. Nov. 9 at the KOAM-TV Studios, 32008 32nd Avenue North. The event is sponsored by the City of Federal Way, Federal Way Kiwanis Club, Federal Way VFW Post 2886, and Federal Way Public Schools.

Mending Fair with the Refugee Artisan Initiative: Bring up to two articles of clothing that need to be repaired with the Refugee Artisan Initiative to the Federal Way Library located at 34200 1st Way South in Federal Way. Watch and learn as an experienced artisan mends your clothing, from buttons to holes to hemming, as part of a project that reduces waste and develops skills. Sunday, November 10 from 11 to 2 p.m. Free but registration is required.
