You’ll be able to ask the newspaper staff about their work or talk about issues affecting the region, such as homelessness, addiction and development, all while supporting a local business and the work of nonprofit FUSION to serve families in need. Federal Way Iftar Dinner for Christians and Muslims: A dinner for Christians and Muslims to make friends and have meaningful conversation about life’s biggest questions. Friday, March 22 at 7 p.m. at 1636 South 330th Street, Federal Way. Dinner will be served at sunset (7:27 p.m.) and will be free and halal. Hosted by Veritas Bible Church and The Al-Ma’idah Initiative.
March of Diapers Drive: Saturday, March 23, at Twin Lakes Fred Meyer from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The effort, hosted annually by local nonprofit Do The Right Thing, distributes baby and adult hygiene products to nearly two dozen organizations and nonprofits across the region, helping keep families stocked.
70th Anniversary for the Federal Way Lions Club: To celebrate with them, join them on March 23 at the Golden Spoon Buffet and Banquet located at 1816 S. 320th St., Federal Way. Community Easter Egg Hunt: Free event on Saturday March 30 at 10 a.m. at the ballpark behind The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 34815 Weyerhaeuser Way, Federal Way, WA, rain or shine. Bring a basket to collect your easter eggs in. The event will include an Easter message, Easter Egg coloring, light refreshments, and Easter Displays.
