Hot off the presses – evening edition: The Federal Way Mirror invites you to join the paper from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 10 at Poverty Bay Café for informal conversation, coffee, beer, wine and appetizers. You’ll be able to ask the newspaper staff about their work or talk about issues affecting the region, such as homelessness, addiction and development, all while supporting a local business and the work of nonprofit FUSION to serve families in need. Candidate Forum: Hear directly from 30th Legislative District state representative candidates in the Mirror’s annual nonpartisan candidate forum at 6 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Federal Way Community Center. Pumpkin Plunge: The first Pumpkin Plunge will be Oct. 19 at the Federal Way Community Center. Enjoy a unique pumpkin picking experience in our pools.
