What happens when two military officers stationed in India in the 19th century make a “grave” mistake?
It takes Sherlock Holmes to figure that out.
Centerstage Theatre is opening the “Crucifer of Blood” on Feb. 27 in Federal Way. The play, originally on Broadway in the 1980s, is a compilation of three Holmes stories.
“It’s very clever,” Centerstage artistic director Alan Bryce said. “It’s for anyone who wants rattling good entertainment.”
The play takes place in numerous locations such as India, England and a Limehouse opium den, and even includes a boat chase scene.
The story begins with two military officers stationed in India who steal the Agra Treasure and are then cursed.
The play is geared for ages 12 and up.
