Rebates are still available through the state’s Cash for Appliances program.

All residents of Washington state who purchase energy-efficient appliances are eligible for the program. The Washington State Department of Commerce reports that more than 30,000 people have benefited from nearly $4 million total in rebates. Residents qualify by upgrading to Energy Star model appliances such as dishwashers, water heaters, refrigerators and washing machines.
