Who turns off the city’s lights? | Federal Way letters

The mayor and city council talk about cutting the budget and stretching the dime, yet when I drive through Federal Way on 320th Street, I see every street light is on, on both sides of the street at 10 a.m.

What a waste of the public’s money. That’s got to be a pretty hefty electrical bill for the city, which uses tax dollars to pay that bill. Turning off the lights could be a good start to cutting back expenses.
