Thanks to the Girl Scouts for your concern and clean up at Redondo July 3. You should have been there July 5 when the park and road were covered with fast food papers, cups, bottles and cans.

Thanks to a few dedicated seniors who regularly pick up trash along Redondo Way South and the park.

The bigger issue is why is there such disregard for our environment with so much trash along our city sidewalks and roads, and why aren’t more citizens involved in clean-up? Where is our city pride?
