Where are the stray cats?

We have lived in Twin Lakes, Federal Way, for nearly 10 years.

For the last four to five years, we have been feeding a semi-feral female cat (spayed). One year, we captured her and took her to Vets for Less for shots.

Each year, when the neighbors behind us start their noisy fireworks, she runs away for a few days.

This year, about two to three weeks ago, the fireworks started, and unusually loud. We have not seen her since. My 91-year-old dad, who has enjoyed the visit of her and several other wild cats, noticed there are none of our wild friends. None. Does anyone know anything, or is it coyotes?

We have gone to the Federal Way Community Center pool this week, and both yesterday and today, we saw coyotes in the area of Wynstone.

We miss those cats.
