Oh my goodness. So The Mirror editor thinks politics are dirty, do tell (April 10)! And you run for office to win? I learn something new every time I open and read the Federal Way Mirror!

And as for Mr. Michael Park’s failure to file with the Public Disclosure Commission in time, if he did the deed, he should stand up and face the music.

And about Mr. Bob Roegner, I go to the council meetings and shortly after it was announced that we were going to be able to elect our mayor, I remember seeing him working the crowd like a polished politician. Shaking hands, slapping backs. This happened on at least two occasions but the city attorney lectures all the rest of us on not campaigning at the council meetings.

Now, about reporting that a “known” Jim Ferrell supporter was asking for public records. How in the world does the newspaper know who is asking for public records from the city? Or who this person supports? Do they do a record search every day? Just wondering. I have asked for public records and no one has ever asked who I’m supporting. Hmmm.

As for the clean pond the editor wants, it’s been murky for far too long, but as of Nov. 2009, we can start clearing it up from the top down. Vote for Jim Ferrell to clean out the pond so we can start getting straight answers. Let’s start a new day in Federal Way and the only way will be up!
