I have been a Federal Way resident, and voter, for 12 years now. I have experienced even in that short time the change in demographics, and the need for strong community support of our local government and agencies.

On three separate occasions, my wife and I have sent emails to members of City Council, and one to the mayors’ office. On those three separate occasions, we have noteven received a response that the individuals representing our city government received the email, let alone addressing the issues presented in that communication. Let it reflect, we used the emails the individuals posted at their own contact page or advertisement for “re-election.”

I am not pleased with the grassroot level of local government here in Federal Way.

Representatives who are supposed to be showing up for its residents, tax payers and voters need to be more responsive to the call, or who are they “really” representing? Re-election is not a given, earn your seats!
