To future homebuyers who are considering purchasing a home in the Twin Lakes HOA area:

You should consider what you would be giving up.

The board of directors of the homeowners association (HOA) controls your house and your life as it relates to your house. You may own the house, but they control what happens to your house and its surroundings.

They do not ask homeowners about raising dues. They demand them.

They tried to force the homeowners to pay $25 a month to support the golf and country club.

If you like being told what to do with your property, this is the place for you.

Twin Lakes used to be a great place to live, but in the past 10 years, it has changed (not for the better).
