Another thought about the Performing Arts and Conference Center (PACC). The pair of Cs in the abbreviation are for “conference center.”

That means a place where a large number of people can gather. If we had such a place in 1989, Federal Way would not have had to hold its incorporation party at Sports World, which was outside the city limits on Pacific Highway in unincorporated King County.
