After reading the latest Federal Way Mirror edition, the thought crossed my mind that the paper should be renamed the Federal Way Republican.

Bob Roegner writes a column on what the Republican party in this state must do to garner enough votes to regain control.

Mark Knapp the NRA representative writes that he has formed a committee to arm volunteers in our schools.

Don Payne wants an apology from Karen Backman because he claims she gave a cheap shot at Republicans (he knows nothing about how the Republicans caused the financial problems).

Then of course there is the push by the mayor and Margaret Nelson and the elitists in Federal Way to build a performing arts center plus a town square. The mayor and others keep referring to downtown Federal Way. There is no downtown Federal Way.

And so it goes with the Federal Way Republican newspaper…
