Reach Out would like to thank the over 400 community leaders, pastors, sponsors, speakers and volunteers who showed up for the fourth annual Reach Out breakfast fundraiser on Sept. 9. You all make it possible for the program to operate.

We couldn’t do it without your support. You are likely curious about how much money we raised — we are totaling the results as we submit this. Our emphasis today is thanking you.

For those who haven’t gotten involved, Reach Out is a Federal Way organization providing shelter, meals and case management for homeless men and woman from South King County,  right here in our city.

It’s an amazing effort that brings together faith communities, service organizations and individuals who care about our neighbors in need. Last year, over 130 homeless clients were served by hundreds of area volunteers.

Homelessness continues to be a reality for people in our city, and Reach Out fills a gap for adults who struggle to meet their most basic needs.  Please visit our website in a few days for updates on the results of the breakfast and more ways to get involved at www.reachoutfederalway.org.
