Thank you Mayor Jim Ferrell for declaring a Toastmasters Week, thus bringing a valuable organization to the attention of our local population.

I was a member of International Toastmistress Clubs in the 1960’s/70’s and benefited greatly from the training. We voted to merge with Toastmasters as a means of introducing working women to a comfortable environment with the men they will be working and even competing with.

I attended the open house meeting and was pleased to find so many clubs available at a variety of times during the day or evening. Busy people need options.
