Spreading hope in Bangladesh | Federal Way letters

Thanks for showing your readers a slice of life from Bangladesh.

The Mirror recently ran a story (Aug. 29) from Brad Johnson, who was serving as an intern in Bangladesh for World Concern. I have visited World Concern’s projects there and am amazed at the adversity so many families face. No jobs. No education. More than half the population is illiterate. What is common is ambition to achieve a dream if a dream is set before them. Whether it is a microloan for a business or an opportunity for an education, people there jump at the chance to live a better life.

So nice work, Brad, at showing us some hope in a land that often goes without.
