Sen. Tracey Eide (D-Federal Way), in light of the budget crisis, how can you and your fellow legislators not agree on a budget in the allotted time frame?
At a time when we need to save every dime possible, the special session our not-so-esteemed governor called for is increasing costs and adding to our expenses, not reducing them.
To me, that is the worst thing you lawmakers can do in a time such as this.
Is it just me, or do you see the hypocrisy in that too?
Obviously this is not your fault alone, but come on, what are we taxpayers to do when those we send to represent us can’t do their job in the required time frame?
Anxiously awaiting your answer and explanation…
Jason Coleman, Federal Way
