I see that the Federal Way Mirror is showing its true colors. The editorial cartoon on page 4 of the July 17 edition is frankly revolting. A more accurate placement for the hog would be on the Republican party headquarters. It was the Republican administrations and their cohorts on Wall Street and in banks and big business that put us into this fiscal mess to begin with.

King County has been cutting expenses for some time now, laying off personnel in all departments and facing more reductions in the judicial and law enforcement fields.

I fail to see any constructive action on the part of Republicans to alleviate the current situation while not increases taxes.
