Growing up my parents taught me that the Democratic Party is for the poor and working class, while the Republican Party is only focused on the wealthy and influential.
Having grown up during the era of Henry Scoop Jackson and Warren Magnuson, I can be proud and thankful of those men who did so much for Washington state. Their legacy influenced my growing up a Democrat because their values were about protecting America as a Great Nation and Washington state as a great place to live and work.
They deeply cared about America’s involvement in world affairs, keeping our military strong, and protecting our values.
For years now Democrats have been embracing a far leftist/communist agenda that I don’t think Scoop or Maggie would have ever dreamed to be possible of what their party is doing these days.
Im now 58 years old and I have slowly walked away from the Democratic Party and now have registered as a Republican. I did this for several grievous reasons.
For the sake of keeping this short, I will list only four though but these are not the only ones:
1) The Democratic Party is now a party that is clinging to fascist values.
2) The Democrat Party has chosen violent tactics and spreading lies as a mean for campaigning and silencing others who do not agree with them.
3) Calling people racist to deflect the narrative of those who have opposite viewpoints to theirs.
4) The Democratic Party does not seek to propel the welfare or common good of the people but to control them in all matters of life.
Through bigger centralized state and federal government, the Democratic Party seeks more control and with them it’s all about control and taxes.
Since my freedom is at risk because of their ideology and their devices, I’m voting for Mark Miloscia who cares about individual liberties and has been an advocate for people’s rights. He has genuine concern for the rule of law and being in equal stance for everyone.
