We have three strong, capable candidates asking for our vote for the first elected mayor of Federal Way. Linda Kochmar, Michael Park and Skip Priest bring their experience in building bridges regionally to encourage economic development, partnerships with other jurisdictions when practical and close working relationships with community groups. Any one of the three would serve us well.

But the question is, which one would serve Federal Way best?

My vote is going to Skip Priest. I urge my friends and neighbors to support him in the Aug. 17 primary and the general election in November. The Municipal League was right when it gave him a rating of Outstanding.
