The last time I checked, the mayoral election isn’t until next November. Yet the streets of our city are already littered with campaign posters. Besides distracting from the beauty of Mother Nature’s Northwest spring, posters from the only declared candidate seem like a waste of money and a bit of an oversell. Is this an indication of how our money will be wasted next year if a qualified candidate doesn’t come forward to oppose city councilman Jim Ferrell?
