I want to tell you why The Mirror’s editorial board got the endorsement wrong for Federal Way City Council Pos. 2.

Mark Koppang’s “strategy” is exactly what Kelly Maloney has been working on for more than eight years in Federal Way, as a volunteer ‚ and is currently working on right now as a council member.

Maloney has put in hundreds of hours of volunteer work for economic development initiatives in Federal Way — just like what Mr. Koppang is suggesting we do now.

Do I see a pattern here?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but has Mark Koppang done any economic development work as a volunteer or otherwise? Has he come up with any new ideas?

Kelly Maloney has. And they make sense.
