The Make Music festival is an international event that is staged each year to celebrate the summer solstice. The Federal Way event included a dazzling array of talents: old, young and multi-cultural, with diverse styles and genres.

The event was the culmination of a dedicated small group of people with exceptional support and coordination from the excellent staff at the city of Federal Way.

I thank Jan Barber and Dorothy Burt along with the other members of the Federal Way Lions Club for selecting me along with a very few others to serve on their steering committee. What an honor.

Now that we have put Federal Way on the map, we hope that you will join us in the years to come.
