(RE: “Transit center and Faux News,” letters to the editor, Sept. 23):

You are such a great example of a bitter hateful liberal/progressive. In your hateful tirade of name calling and accusations, your defense of late-term abortion doctor George Tiller, your seeing America in a mood of nastiness and slander sounds more like you seeing the country only as a biased and liberal/progessive could.

I am very encouraged by what I am seeing. The American people are starting to speak out about the government taking over of major industries, including our heath coverage. I guess you’re more intelligent than 20 million daily listeners of Rush Limbaugh’s radio show, without guests. You seem to have a real hatred for Fox News Channel and many of the shows they offer. You need to stop listening and watching so much of MSNBC (Obama news network) and some of their shows like Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and Ed Show, who spew out alot of hatred like you offered in your comments in your letter to The Mirror.

America has grown up and sacrificed many lives in wars to stop the spread of Communism, dictators, and terrorists throughout the world. America feeds much of the world and has given millions to Africa to stop the spread of AIDS. There is so much to be proud of about America and that’s why many risk their lives just to get here. You really need a new perspective about the country you live in.
