Let’s consider human cloning | Letters

Human cloning, being a very controversial topic of our time, can be a very tricky thing to interpret.

I am a freshman attending Christian Faith School in Federal Way. I am doing a project on human cloning for my Pacific Northwest History class. I am writing you asking for a moment of your time to read what I have to say. I understand that you must be a very busy person, and I am very grateful for your time.

Human cloning, being a very controversial topic of our time, can be a very tricky thing to interpret. When I first heard the idea, I said, “Gross! That’s absolutely disgusting,” but after some research, I have found out that there are many good things that human cloning could bring to our society. It could help people who couldn’t have children have children or bring happiness to a couple that lost a child recently. I am not promoting human cloning, but I hope that you don’t write it off as something wrong at first glance. It just might be a right step into the future.
