‘Jesus would want’ gay, anti-gay demonstrations to be peaceful | Federal Way letters

Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. He rebuked those who chose to follow their inclinations, philosophy or world view. The science is out. The truth is GLBTQ (gay, lesbian, etc.) is a lifestyle choice, not heriditary like being black or white. Jesus followed and affirmed all Scripture to the letter. The books of the Bible outlining that God proclaims marriage between a man and woman (also Washington state law) and what is said about GLBTQ in other Scripture references was supported by Jesus. (2 Timothy 3:16)

I hope GLBTQ gives the youth and young adults who will be participating across the country in the “Day of Truth” event celebrated the day after will allow the same tolerance and respect as you are asking of them. The “Day of Truth” event celebrates the freedom of speech to disagree with GLBTQ. I see a lot of hate, anger and intolerance by GLBTQ against those who disagree with their world view. I pray all is peaceful for both events, as Jesus would want it.
