It is refreshing to see that The Mirror has added Keith Livingston as one of its contributors/columnists.

Mr. Livingston certainly brings a balanced, calm and thoughtful approach and more positive perspective on life here in Federal Way instead of the constant negative and biased slant from the last columnist, who shall remain unnamed.

The last thing one needs is to open the Federal Way Mirror every single week to a sour and dark look at every aspect of our city. We are better than that.

Let’s hope these new election results move the city forward toward a thriving, progressive and vibrant place to call home rather than lead us in a downhill slide into what one of our Eastside state representatives referred to recently as the “armpit of South King County” to the face of one of our elected officials.
