Tracey Eide (D-District 30) is a leader in the state Senate.
She also claims to be a champion of education. She likes to create the impression that she is very powerful.
Due to state budget cuts, Federal Way’s only post-secondary education facility is closing its doors. Highline Community College is closing its Federal Way campus.
You would think that a powerful state senator who bills herself as an education champion would have done something.
Either that, or she is not nearly as powerful or interested in education (or both) as she would have us believe.
