We are asking for your support of the Federal Way school levy. We are newly elected school board members and ran on a platform to engage the community in our district decision making.

We are extremely committed to representing you and continuing to build a strong education system for all of our children.

This school levy is part of the financial foundation of our education system. While the state is slowly increasing the amount they are spending on education, we still need levy support to continue to make the positive changes in our education system to address the issues you raised during the campaign.

Change takes time and it will not come about by reducing our current support for our students and teachers. We are visiting schools and seeing firsthand the excellent education many of our students are getting.

Do we have work to do? Yes. But please don’t hold our students hostage for the frustrations you have with adults. They can’t afford a step back in this critical time of their lives.
