Changing DUI laws in Washington | Federal Way letters

If State Sen. Tracey Eide and State Rep. Mark Miloscia cared, they would have done something long before now.

In response to “Drinking and driving: Enact tougher laws” (Mirror editorial, June 19):

I saw the memorial on I-5. If State Sen. Tracey Eide and State Rep. Mark Miloscia cared, they would have done something long before now. In 2009, both of them voted for HB 1517, which gave voting rights to felons. The only way to change the law is to change the people that make the law. If their replacements don’t work out, then we can fire them as well.
