Celski is right guy for council | Federal Way letters

Having been a 27-year resident and a current Federal Way business owner, I have seen much brighter times for this city. I have watched as commercial buildings after commercial buildings go vacant and remain vacant for years with loss of jobs for our citizens which have not been replaced.

Yes, we all have been in hard times for the past few years, but I have seen the growth in retail and restaurant developments in Kent, Renton and other surrounding cities, while growth prospects in Federal Way have remained stagnant. What happened to the vision of a downtown core with retail shops and residential units above them? An inviting city with pedestrian traffic and interesting places to meet as a community to enjoy and socialize?

This is why I am supporting Bob Celski for Federal Way City Council position 5. I have known Bob Celski for over 25 years and have grown to understand the great love and pride he has for this city. He has the desire, the experience and the vision to help bring Federal Way out of the stagnant state that it finds itself in today.

I strongly encourage going to www.electcelski.com and take a good look at his platform and the talent that Bob Celski will bring to the council. No, he is not Superman, but he would be a strong addition to the council and a valuable member that Federal Way greatly needs.
