Candidates in the city’s best interests | Federal Way letters

I have been reading some of the letters from readers and the reason why they plan to vote for, or not, because they might feel he/she is weak, whereas another feels if he/she is a Republican, then they shouldn’t be elected.

I have another problem. There are two candidates I am having trouble deciding which one to vote for. They are both qualified, one I know personally and the other I feel is really trying to bring the city of Federal Way into a better light to the rest of King County. Both of these men, Skip Priest and Jim Ferrell, are on my radar to be the first elected mayor of Federal Way. Skip I know personally and have the greatest respect for as a leader, he has proven to be, by representing us in Olympia and Federal Way in the past, and Jim Ferrell, I don’t know, but respect the way he has been trying to improve the City of Federal Way against all odds.

So now, I must decide who will do the best job. They both have the best of interest in our beautiful city, so now my husband and I have to decide which one. It doesn’t matter which party they are in, it’s what they want to do to improve and help the City of Federal Way to flourish, not be another Bellevue, Tacoma or Seattle.
