There are many citizens who own guns for the purpose of killing animals for “sport.”

Now guest columnist Mark Knapp provides a primer in the April 25 issue (“Vigilante justice and lead enemas”) on the most effective way to shoot a perceived burglar or intruder. Of course, he’s not advocating vigilantism. Nor is he trying to fan the flames of fear. But I’m thinking of adding Kevlar to my spring wardrobe.
