Wild Waves Theme Park will hold a job fair on Sunday, April 3, to hire for the upcoming 2011 season.

The park — the largest of its kind in Washington — is hiring for a number of positions, and is seeking interested applicants over 16 only. The fair runs noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the park, 36201 Enchanted Parkway S. The park employs around 1,000 people in a given season, May to October. Wild Waves is asking for applicants to fill out an application online and bring it with them on Sunday. Open positions run the gamut, from life guards, to food service workers, security guards, game runners, parking lot attendants and ride operators.

Wild Waves opens on May 14 for rides only. The water attractions open on May 28. Wild Waves recently announced plans to construct a new water ride, and is under new management by former owner Jeff Stock and his NorPoint Entertainment company.
