Vince’s Italian Restaurants celebrating milestone in Federal Way

Vince’s Italian Restaurants is celebrating its 60th anniversary in the region. Enzo (Vince) and Ada Mottola opened their first pizzeria in Seattle in 1957 just a few years after emigrating from Naples, Italy. At the time, pizza was still in its infancy in the Northwest, with just a handful of pizza restaurants in Seattle. From the mid-1960s to mid-1970s Vince’s was one of the busiest restaurants within the Seattle city limits.

Today there are three Vince’s locations, in Renton, Federal Way and Burien, along with Pizzeria Pulcinella in south Seattle and Marina Wood Fired Pizza & Italian Café in Des Moines.

To celebrate, Vince’s is offering customers a small pizza or spaghetti dinner at 1957 prices, Monday through April 30.
