Tao Pacific Cuisine, 30333 Pacific Highway S., has closed its doors. The restaurant and lounge opened September 2009. On March 3, the restaurant had a sign on the door advertising the building for sale.

It is not posted why the restaurant closed or why the property is being sold. The King County Department of Assessments does not state that taxes are owed on the property. According to the assessment department, the property is owned by Minoru Uchida and Nobue Uchida of Puyallup. The Uchidas could not be reached for comment. The husband and wife pair took ownership of the property when it was foreclosed in September 2010. The 0.83 acres of land and the 7,298-square-foot building is now selling for $950,000 through Lakewood-based RK Real Estate Services.
