MOD Pizza will open Federal Way restaurant in October

Known for “made on demand” personal artisan-style pizzas and salads, MOD Pizza will continue its rapid expansion in the Puget Sound region with a new restaurant in Federal Way.

The fast-casual restaurant is under construction at 2104 S. 320th St. and has a tentative opening date of Oct. 13, according to a company spokesperson.

MOD Pizza is in the process of adding 20 more restaurants. Overall, the Bellevue-based chain has about 215 locations across the United States as well as in the United Kingdom.

The family-friendly restaurant specializes in custom-built pizzas that are baked quickly in an 800-degree oven. Aside from a whole galaxy of pizza toppings and salad combinations, customers can also order sodas, shakes and beer.
