IHOP restaurants nationwide will sell a short stack of buttermilk pancakes for $1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23, with all proceeds benefiting No Kid Hungry, a nonprofit that combats childhood hunger. The Federal Way IHOP is located at 178 SW Campus Dr.
“No child should go hungry in America, but 1 in 5 kids will face hunger this year,” reads a joint release from IHOP and No Kid Hungry. “Using proven, practical solutions, No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger today by ensuring that kids start the day with a nutritious breakfast and families learn the skills they need to shop and cook on a budget.”
