Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce honors local businesses

The Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce honored local businesses with Impact Awards at its annual Gala on Nov. 18 at the Center at Norpoint.

Lloyd Enterprises, above, received the Business Impact Award. The company boasts its own 120-acre gravel pit near Interstate 5 in South King County, 12 miles south of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, and is headquartered in Federal Way. It features quality sand and gravel, specialty soil mixtures, compost, and topsoil suitable for playfields, infields and golf courses.

The Korean School of Federal Way, a non-profit organization established by members of the Federal Way Korean American community in 2011, was awarded the Community Impact Award.

TOTE Maritime Alaska received the Regional Impact Award. The company through its operations in Alaska and Puerto Rico, provides high-speed liner services in the U.S. domestic trade.
