Mayor Jim Ferrell is inviting Federal Way business owners and operators to discuss business issues with the city and the Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce at the first Business Connection meeting, scheduled 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24 at the Courtyard Marriott, 31910 Gateway Center Boulevard S. in Federal Way.

The mayor will hold business connection meetings throughout the city during 2015 to discuss economic development and the needs of local businesses. Owners and operators of Federal Way businesses are invited to join Ferrell, City Council members, the Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce and department directors for upcoming meetings.

The meeting will last approximately 60 minutes with a brief city presentation and information from the Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce. A majority of the meeting will be devoted to questions and topics of concern to businesses. The goal is to provide answers and identify solutions.

Coffee, tea and refreshments will be provided at the upcoming meeting.
