6 Federal Way businesses recognized for recycling efforts

King County’s Solid Waste Division recently announced that 97 local companies have been named to the 2014 “Best Workplaces for Recycling and Waste Reduction” list, including 6 businesses/offices in Federal Way.

This is the highest number of businesses listed since the program began in 2007. The list recognizes businesses for their innovative recycling practices and commitment to reducing the amount of waste their company produces.

Federal Way honorees include Federal Way Naturopathy, Inc.; Frito Lay, Inc.; Kennedy/Jenks Consultants, Inc.; Marlene’s Market & Deli; Weyerhaeuser; and Windsor Heights Apartments.
