The Wildwood Elementary Wildcat math team recently performed in its final math contest of the year at the Highline School District Math Bonanza on May 7. The fourth grade team won first place and the fifth grade team won third place. Many Wildwood students also placed in their individual competitions. The Wildwood Wildcat math team has achieved numerous successes this year including placing in the top five teams at both Thomas Jefferson’s All-City Math Bonanza and the regional Math is Cool competition in Division 1B. The following Wildwood students were among those recognized at the event: Tyler St. Clair, Conner Wells, Brian Waithaka, Samuel Brown and Hannah Kim.
