Following the birthday of our great nation allowing the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness, I say shame on you Federal Way Mirror allowing the June 30 letter by Tim Burns regarding Tony Moore to be written. Burns is obviously in need of counseling for his bigoted, spiteful, hateful, indignant and self-righteous built-up resentments.

America is tired of business as usual politics with all the slander and hate. Backstabbing almost always comes from the left-wing political system including the mind-controlling media. Liberty University is one of the country’s finest universities. To compare Tony Moore to Jerry Falwell is like saying you’re a car because you’re in the garage. Hate, anger and today’s media are responsible for why good people refuse to run for office. Tony is a loving, caring family man with a business in the Federal Way area who wants to offer his services to our state to bring some badly needed change. Like me, Tony has Christian roots. Liberty guarantees we do not have to leave our spirituality at the door when we go in. I do commend The Mirror on the articles about what the candidates “say” on issues, so let’s keep to that. Like many, as for this voter come November, all incumbents are history.
