Apartment pool broken into: At 6:21 a.m. on June 1 in the 31000 block of 50th Lane SW, witnesses reported seeing a large group of people jump a fence to gain access to a pool/recreation area at an apartment complex. The group also damaged a door to gain entry to a hot tub. The report notes the group left the scene before police arrival.

Vehicle vandalized: At 2:44 p.m. on June 1 in the 2200 block of S. Star Lake Road, unknown suspects sprayed a fire extinguisher over the victim’s car, before throwing the extinguisher through the car’s passenger side window. There were no witnesses or video surveillance available.

Man walks out on $14 tab: At 5:29 p.m. on June 1 in the 1200 block of S. 324th St., a man walked out on a $14 tab at the Scoreboard Pub. Police found the man a short distance away, apparently passed out in some bushes. The police extricated the man from the bushes and arrested him without incident.

Drunk man bothers neighbors: At 2:50 a.m. on May 31 in the 2200 block of Star Lake Road, an intoxicated man went to his neighbor’s house to tell them someone was trying to kill him. Upon police arrival, the man was mostly incoherent and police were unable to verify any threats to the man’s life or safety. A records check of the man came back with an active warrant, resulting in his arrest.

Computers stolen from Goodwill trailer: At 8:40 a.m. on May 31 in the 32000 block of Pacific Highway S., unknown suspects broke into a Goodwill trailer and stole a large number of computer towers. The towers were likely dysfunctional because they were set to be recycled in the near future.

Aunt disappears with child: At 10:54 a.m. on May 31 in the 31000 block of Third Place SW, a woman reported her 3-year-old child missing. The woman’s sister had taken the child at 4 a.m. to “go to the store.” The aunt and the child were gone for 13 hours before returning, at which time the aunt was arrested.

Man drives through police barricade: At 11:26 p.m. on May 31 in the 100 block of SW 320th St., a man drove through a police barricade and police chased him for three blocks before he stopped. The man did not hear officers’ commands to stop because of the loud music inside his vehicle. The barricade was up because of an investigation into a near-fatal accident, and the driver himself had an active warrant. It was unclear whether or not he was arrested for the warrant.

Neighbor stabs neighbor in neck: At 11:33 p.m. on May 31 in the 28000 block of Pacific Highway S., two neighbors got into a heated argument. At one point, one of the individuals stabbed the other in the neck with a knife. The report notes the victim suffered a small laceration due to the attack.

Ankle bracelet left at Walmart: At 6:33 p.m. on May 30 in the 1900 block of S. 314th St., Walmart employees reported finding an ankle bracelet in one of the store’s aisles. The bracelet is the kind used for home confinement, etc. Police and Walmart employees reviewed video surveillance footage, but were unable to identify anyone taking the bracelet off.
