Kids, parents and truck enthusiasts touched bulldozers, tractors, city vehicles and other trucks during the annual Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday at Town Square Park.

Mayor Jim Ferrell kicked off the family event, which gave the community an opportunity to get up close and personal with all of the vehicles and equipment that build, serve and protect the Federal Way community with pride.

Children enjoyed the hands-on experience as they honked, tooted and climbed aboard their favorite trucks. These ranged from Federal Way Public Works vehicles to South King Fire and Rescue engines and Federal Way Police Department vehicles.
