The City of Federal Way and Todd Beamer High School’s Street Law class will host a presentation titled “Preventing Domestic Violence Through Knowledge” at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 at the school, 35999 16th Ave. S.The event will feature a panel discussion with former victims of domestic violence. Barbara Madsen, Washington State Supreme Court Chief Justice, and Rob McKenna, Washington State Attorney General, also will participate. Federal Way Municipal Court Judge Dave Larson will moderate the panel. Other panelists will include King County Prosecutor Dan Satterberg, nationally renowned domestic violence expert Roland Maiuro, Ph.D., and criminal defense counsel Pat Valerio from the Associated Counsel for the Accused.
