Nov. 13

There were three vehicle thefts, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Guns and drugs recovered: At about 4:50 a.m. in the 29000 block of 19th Ave. S., a Federal Way Police Department officer assisted Homeland Security with executing a search warrant. The suspect was being investigated for weapons trafficking and distribution of illegal narcotics. The suspect was arrested prior to entry to the home. The officer assisted with the execution of the search warrants, and multiple handguns were located, as well as a large amount of narcotics. Homeland Security agents took possession of all evidence.

Sexual harassment: At about 1:15 p.m. at Steel Lake Park, a woman reported that she was walking her dog near the water when an unknown male, who she described as Middle Eastern, in his late 30s, and driving an older white Toyota Corolla asked her to come to his car so he could pet her dog. The woman was hesitant as he opened the car door, and she could see the male rubbing his genitals on the outside of his pants. The woman immediately left the park and called 911. Officers searched the area, but could not find a suspect.

Man shot after robbery attempt: At about 4:40 p.m. in the 32000 block of Pacific Hwy. S., the victim was walking in front of Can Am Pizza when an unknown male walked up behind him and demanded all of the victim’s money. The victim turned around, and the suspect was brandishing a gun in his right hand. The suspect demanded the victim’s wallet, but he refused. The victim was then shot once in his left calf, and the suspect ran away.

Nov. 14

There were three vehicle thefts, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Smoking drugs: At about 10:15 p.m. at the transit center, an officer observed a man smoking at a bus stop, and upon contact, the officer discovered the man was smoking a controlled substance in public. The man was also found to have two active warrants for his arrest. The case for open drug use was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

Nov. 15

There were four vehicle thefts, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.

Juvenile steals a golf cart: At about 9:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of SW 352nd St., there was a report that a white golf cart belonging to Terra Apartments was taken. The suspect was described as a white juvenile male between 17 and 18 years old wearing a hoodie.

Seattle FBI office: At about 9:50 p.m. in the 32000 block of 9th Ave. S., someone made a phone report stating that he was part of an online terror group that messages through an app called Telegram regarding sales of illegal ghost guns and switches. The reporting party stated that there have been plans made in the group to bomb the Seattle FBI office on Nov. 29 at 12:30 p.m. He could not provide names, but stated the head of the group’s nickname. The reporting party stated he was worried people are going to get hurt.

Nov. 16

There were three vehicle thefts, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Pedestrian hit-and-run: At about 12:20 a.m. in the 2300 block of S. 288th St., officers responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision. Officers discovered that the suspect had fled the scene, and the pedestrian had a broken leg. Probable cause was established for a felony-hit-and-run. Officers identified the suspect, and he was taken into custody.

Juvenile arrested for drive-by shooting: At about 12:20 a.m. in the 200 block of S. 328th St., officers responded to a non-injury shooting. Investigation revealed probable cause for felony harassment and drive-by shooting. The suspect was later located and arrested.

Nov. 17

There was one vehicle theft, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.

Man passed out with blue pills: At about 5:20 p.m. in the 34000 block of Pacific Hwy. S., officers responded to a welfare check and found a man passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle. In plain view, officers could see a bottle of small, round blue pills consistent with “M30s.” There was also foil, a straw and a butane torch in his lap. Probable cause was established for misdemeanor violation of the Unified Controlled Substances Act, and the driver was contacted. He was resistant, but was later taken into custody without incident.

Nov. 18

There were three vehicle thefts, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Robbery with a knife: At about 9:35 a.m. in the 1500 block of SW 356th St., officers responded to a report of a robbery with a knife.

Man in street with a machete: At about 10 p.m. in the 32000 block of Pacific Hwy. S., a man was seen in the street with a machete. The man concealed the machete when he noticed officers, but the man was arrested for concealing a dangerous weapon.

Nov. 19

There were eight vehicle thefts, and three vehicles were recovered on this day.

Hard feelings after termination: At about 2:25 p.m. in the 1800 block of S. Commons, an adult male who was recently terminated called to threaten the manager by saying he was going to shoot the establishment. A case of harassment against the man who made the shooting threat was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

Threat with a gun after basketball game: At about 8:20 p.m. at LA Fitness, there was a report that a man had made threats to someone before displaying a firearm. The suspect was not located.

ATM stolen with a tractor: At about 7:30 p.m. in the 33000 block of 21st Ave. SW, there was a report from multiple witnesses that a tractor had torn a free-standing ATM from the location. The tractor, vehicle and trailer were last seen fleeing eastbound.
