Phenomenal She annual fundraiser: From 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 19, head to La Quinta Inn and Suites Banquet for an unforgettable evening at the Phenomenal She Annual Fundraiser. Keynote speaker will be announced soon.

Pumpkin Plunge: The first Pumpkin Plunge will be Oct. 19 at the Federal Way Community Center. Enjoy a unique pumpkin picking experience in the pools. Swim around with your pumpkins and take one home afterward. Each participant will choose a floating pumpkin from the pool. Children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult. Federal Way Community Center is located at 876 S. 333rd St., Federal Way.

Fall Foliage Festival at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden: Enjoy a rainbow of colors and bushels of fun at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden’s Fall Foliage Festival Oct. 26-27. The large collection of Japanese maples, deciduous azaleas and other deciduous species never fails to produce a huge range of bright colors right before winter. Your last chance for outdoor color until next spring.

Tricks and Treats: From 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Federal Way Community Center, 876 S. 333rd St. Get ready for a spooktacular Halloween experience at the Federal Way Community Center’s Tricks n’ Treats event. It’s an evening filled with ghoulish delights, fun games, sweet treats, and unforgettable memories. Admission is $6.

Theatre for youngsters: “Stuart Little” is a TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) show by Centerstage Theatre, and is adapted by Joseph Robinette, based on the book by E.B. White. This production features local actors Elliott Lovett as Stuart Little, Marisa-Clare Hissey as Mrs. Little, Nathan Cardenas as Mr. Little, Ashlyn Bagocius as Actor #3, and Rachel Ruby Squires as Actor #4. This show is directed by Niclas Olson and Sarah Ross serves as stage manager. Shows are 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, and 2 p.m. Nov. 3. St. Luke’s Theatre presents the Wizard of Oz: “The Wizard of Oz” is a beloved tale of life’s journey through family, friendship and self-discovery. It is about the family we are born into and grow up with, and the family we develop with those who become part of our lives as we travel down our own Yellow Brick Road. This version has been scripted by comedy writers Greg Gamble and Lee Howard, and though not the version you’re familiar with, its parody, satire and abstract nonsense will leave you in stitches. Performances will take place on Nov. 8 through Nov. 10 and Nov. 15 through Nov. 17.
