In the area of South 336th Street and Pacific Highway in Federal Way, a man was non-fatally shot in the leg at about 2 a.m. July 5.

According to Federal Way Police Department Cmdr. Kyle Buchanan, officers responded to the Multicare hospital at 29805 Pacific Hwy. S., to a man who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Buchanan said the injury was non-life-threatening, and the victim was uncooperative with investigating officers. Additionally, he said through investigation, in the area of the shooting, three bullet casings were found by officers. On July 5 when the shooting occurred, there were no suspects, according to Buchanan.
